Pros
Decent benefits package including non-contributory 401K & ESOP. Most work is considered to be embedded program support allowing potential to work along side Civil Servant customer counterparts as an equal within IPT groups. Small office work environment allows potential for local centers of excellence if managed right.
Cons
Work flow very heavily dependent on DOD program funding cycles. Uncommunicative management. Toxic atmosphere of extreme management bullying is tolerated in some areas and enabled by local office politics. Again, if local work areas are run right good things can happen. If not, they can be soul eating pits of despair.
