Pros

Great salary, while it lasted.

Cons

DDC hired me from my steady relatively permanent job, after several weeks of wooing. Repeated salary increases and increased unearned PTO time were just a few of the incentives and frequent upgrades for me to come on-board. I continually told them I wasn't qualified and would have to be trained and the response was always it didn't matter they would train me (and then they would add another benefit of enticement). After quitting my steady job and coming on-board they hired another individual just 6 months later with the exact same title and responsibilities. One year goes by and my training and responsibilities start decreasing. My trainer would have excuses to not show up on training day. Two years after hiring I was let go. No forewarning (I even got a bonus the first year I was there?), No indication that I was not meeting my obligations. The reason for being let go really doesn't matter as a company can make up any excuse they want but they 'claimed' I wasn't meeting my contractual obligations! Companies play with people's lives heartlessly. I was hired knowing that I would eventually be let go in favor of the second person they hired afterwards. To them you are just a number. Take heed when thinking about coming onboard this company.
