Pros
They offer very secure, stable jobs and many opportunities for employees to develope themselves. The facilities are well maintained and always clean with many amenities for the employees including good cafeteries and gyms on site. The company believes strongly in applying Kaizen to all areas, so they are constantly innovating everything from the production line to employee recognition.
Cons
The hiring process is very long and extremely thorough, even for internal promotions. They are constantly improving in incremental, barely noticeable ways which can be frustratingly slow. They over extend the 5S principle to the point where the office can feel extremely soulless. They don't treat their temporary employees very well. If someone is good enough to temp for 5-9 years, they are probably good enough for you to hire.
