Pros

I spent the past 5 years working for DHL Express in Australia and this was a great experience. They really care of people and the way they are treated. They compensate employees for their hard work and you always feel like being part of the family over there. Since I arrived in the UK, I had one terrible experience that made me realise how lucky I was back in DHL Express in Australia. Not sure if the spirit is the same in DHL Express UK though.

Pros

Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

Cons

For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.
