Pros

Feel like part of a family. A bit dysfunctional but a family nonetheless. It is a nice atmosphere than most factories to work in. Good pay compared to others surrounding warehouse jobs. It was 17 for 6 months and 18 thereafter when I left if you didn't take the insurance. 1st shift. Lots of volunteer opportunities with frequent incentives for volunteers bc no one ever wants to volunteer which I never understood...

Cons

If you have good work ethic they will abuse you. They laid off everyone who hadn't been there more than a year trying to get rid of 1st shift when Amazon canceled their contract with them. Then they decided to take hours from 3rd shift instead reducing their full time hours to only 5 because it's cheaper to pay 1st shift to work 10 hour shifts. I left there making only 65 cents more than new hires after 3 years of being there.... And they say insurance is cheap there and they offer to pay you an extra dollar an hour to not take it. But what is actually happening is you are paying a dollar an hour plus the cost of the insurance making it super expensive if you are full time which I think you need to be to get the insurance. They basically do not respect employees.

Pros

Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

Cons

For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.

Pros

Get entry level sales position. The company has great benefits..

Cons

You will be calling 80-100 times per day for months until you get promoted but it’s a fairly easy job. Can just be boring.
