      Pros

      Starting pay is good. Schedule is flexible. Health, Dental, and Vision benefits become available after 90+ days of employment.

      Cons

      It often gets hot in the summer and having a fan on can only do so much. There is favoritism among employees in which some will get away with breaking a rule that others could not. Start times will vary based on the amount of freight and arrival of flights.

      Pros

      Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

      Cons

      For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.

      Cons

      You will be calling 80-100 times per day for months until you get promoted but it’s a fairly easy job. Can just be boring.
