Had my shifts changed 4 times in 6 months, penalty rates were promised at 30% as my position was officially night shift but they created a middle shift to account for excess freight because they needed an experienced person to train the new staff coming through. When I escalated they said it was with review with HR but HR denied the request immediately and management lied and said it was still under review so I would stay on shift. When I found out they were lying they kept changing my shifts with no notice so I would quit when I complained to HR the lady laughed in my face and said if I couldn’t handle the responsibility of the role I should step down or quit.
