Pros

Absolutely nothing, rubbish management, no compassion

Cons

I’m deeply disappointed with how I was treated during a very difficult time in my life. Despite providing a valid sick note for anxiety and being transparent about my struggles, including the recent loss of my grandfather to cancer, I was dismissed from my position due to absence and lateness. My lateness was not a sign of carelessness, but a result of wanting to be with my grandfather during his final moments—something any compassionate workplace should be able to understand. I also followed the correct procedures in notifying the company about my anxiety and submitted medical evidence accordingly. Instead of being met with empathy and support, I was penalized for circumstances outside my control. For an organization that’s meant to promote health, care, and compassion, my experience felt cold, unfair, and completely lacking in human understanding. I hope future staff members facing hardship are treated with the empathy they deserve, because no one should be punished for being unwell or grieving.

No incentives for over time or good behaviour. Listen to staff but fail to make adjustments based what departments need
