Pros
Helping blood cancer patients is definitely a great cause.
Cons
I'm concerned that most of the employees in the organisation are now more profit-driven than mission-driven. Human Resources manages the show. And the CEO simply listens to her words. People who have a positive relationship with HR receive the greatest benefits, such as promotions and pay raises. People who have worked in the organisation for years with the best of intentions are trapped with the same salaries or minimal raises due to their straightforward communication. HR can pass demeaning comments on everyone with the attitude that nobody in the organisation can challenge her. Have never encountered a company where the HR department alone possesses all decision-making authority. Most managers never support their team members because, for their own professional advancement, they are compelled to heed to HR. For others, working from home is a huge deal, but HR professionals can work from home at any time. They have different laws and regulations for HR supporters and opponents! The Organization was excellent prior to her employment. They have now gone to the wolves! Due to HR's personal grudges, they have lost a number of excellent employees who were cause-driven.
