Cons
Its largely ineffective and confused global platform is the principal cause for work being cannibalized by one office on another. The emphasis is not on client relationship but on schmoozing with "internal" clients (i.e., other DLA offices). Referrals are the only way they get work to move and little to no emphasis is placed on obtaining 'real' clients. It's no meritocracy like other Big Law firms but one that encourages sycophancy. It's unfortunate -- there are a lot of talented people in its global network but the tribalism that exists in its major offices that seek to take away work from other offices will be this firm's downfall.
