Pros
I was working there as a kitchen designer for about 6 months. It was the worst experience of my life. However there was one pro: the training. Some tricks I picked up still using in Sales. Also some of my ex-colleueges were great and we still in contact.
Cons
They don't pay out commissions and as they do not pay a base salary, the commission is your only income; they treating you like animals and talk to you like one. The job is going to people's houses after a questionable "lead" and then after the icebreak - if you get through without the owner kicking you out - design, sell and close on spot within 4 hours. 5 out of 10 leads were cold, meaning the owner wasn't home or they simply didn't let you in. Out of the remaining 5 leads usually 1 sold - but then they found every problem with the design to deduct money from your commission which completely vanished sometimes on the end. You had to go out to 10 different addresses, driving up to 3 hours at times to maybe sell 1 kitchen. You paid for your fuel, kit, time and car. Everything. And then you had to be ready and go at anytime Monday -Sunday, you had no day off. Sad.
