Avoid the Arlington Office - Manager DMI Employee Review

Pros

At one time, this group was a small tier-three advertising shop with modest success. Having fallen on hard times they had to sell. What they've become is sad, miserable, and toxic.

Cons

Every Monday morning was the same. The small remaining group of despondent, miserable, and complacent employees huddled for another disappointing and awkwardly cherry update from Arlington leadership. No wins to report. No new work to announce. Checked out and angry, the team of hangers-on, would begrudgingly embark on yet another week. The leadership team flails and clings to "what worked" ten years ago—when they needed to be acquired. The new company brings on new hires with new energy but the acquired crew quickly ostracizes and gaslights anyone attempting to bring fire to the cave. If you're considering a job here, please reach out to folks who've gone through it. The recruiters want to hire you because you're amazing and hiring you lets them keep their jobs. However, the leadership team and underlings in Arlington will recognize your talents, be woefully intimidated, and ensure you fail. The companies magnitude of positive reviews are fabricated to hike the numbers. Ask yourself why they have 10x more reviews than companies 10x their size.

Pros

They have been good to me. My manager was very good, I am contracted to a state organization to a good team. This is probably the best job I've ever had. I recommend them.

Cons

Honestly, I have no complaints.
