There are no cons. It was a great experience

I was afforded opportunities and independence in my roll as a designer and a project manager. I did learn a tremendous amount on the management side of the industry just from doing. That came with a bit of a learning curve as to the way work is done and managed and what is expected of you. There was good mutual respect for the most part with different personalities on the management side. The owner of the firm is a true leader and clearly controls and steers the ship and a strong relationship with him is important but the other partners each have their strengths and emerging rolls and are expected to guide its future. The greatest strength of any firm is its people and their backgrounds and many have longevity there, the group has a great working dynamic and social nature. As with any firm management and organization are works in progress. After leaving the firm I greatly miss the diversified work I was involved in and the staff relations.

Not the most progressively managed or design related firm and not offering a lot of mentoring towards staff.
