Nothing anymore since new owner took over

New owner forced his way in somehow and took over the company most likely through a legal battle. This guy accuses his employees of stealing from customers, yelling at them and saying he’s here to “clean house”. Got yelled at for operating how we did for YEARS, he seemed to not understand how to communicate how he wants us to charge our time - if you don’t want us doing piece work; then tell us that. If it’s per hour, fine - let us know that. We were basically subcontractors - this guy has no idea how many times I went to jobs for free, did misc things for the company for no pay because I knew it was piece work. Quit on the spot after getting yelled at - this guy needs to learn it ain’t 1999 anymore, you can’t just yell at employees and treat PEOPLE like I was. It’s like he thought I was a criminal or something. Because of what happened to me - 2 other guys they were pursuing to bring back reached out to me and I flat out told them don’t work for this guy - he’s a hot head and he’s gonna run the company like the tyrant he is. Word of advice for anyone seeking employment - don’t go here. You’re going to be buried in safety paperwork, safety meeting, other meetings, policy after policy after policy… after policy. Get the hint? You have to operate exactly how they want when they want - no freedom here anymore. Glad I left - the grass is definitely greener.

I really like working here. Hours are flexible. Piece work so I don’t have to work a 9-5. Good wage. I like the people I work with. Type of work is easy some days and challenging on others which I like. Pretty much my own boss and don’t have to interact with office staff too much.

You have to have all your own tools - they don’t provide you with any. No admin time. Have to work for free on occasion which I hate if you have a callback. Sometimes the hours are lacking.
