Pros
Progression - I've been lucky enough to be promoted and gain more responsibility through my time at the company, and many others in the team have been promoted within the department or taken on other roles in the business. I have been with the company over 4 years now. Friendly - the company is full of really friendly and talented people, always very welcoming and engaging to new and existing colleagues. Social - there are company social events every 1-2 months, from summer party's to bowling / breakout rooms. Also a 5 a side football game most weeks and quite a few people tend head out for beers on Fridays after work. Fast Paced / Entrepreneurial - the business is always changing, very dynamic so there's never normally 2 days the same. Opportunity - there's not the red tape a lot of other companies have. If you have ideas, you're able to express them if they're going to add value. The most proactive people tend to thrive in this business.
Cons
Communication - sometimes things happen in the business which aren't communicated to the wider business, leading to a gossip culture. However, this is something I've found is improving all the time. Processes - with the rate that the company has grown, some of the systems haven't managed to keep up which means there's a lot of manual work. The company is currently implementing a new system, so this should be sorted very soon. Sometimes some of the processes are not clearly defined, leading to confusion, but again, there is work going on to rectify this.
