Pros
It’s a paycheck but not much else
Cons
Two month waiting period to use any vacation or sick time. Two month waiting period for health insurance Two weeks vacation to start vs three or four at competitors Management has low trust in staff almost to the point of contempt for desk level workers. Example: simple computer functions are locked down and you need to hunt down the magic person who has permissions to complete a task even if you are management. In other words, do not expect autonomy or efficiency here. Setting up accounts takes days not hours, lots of red tape. Commercial teams are adrift - company has been solely focused on acquisitional growth and lost the ability to sell and grow business organically. There are no sales meetings, no discussions of pipelines, no budgets that need to be made for AM. Company is openly hostile to remote work. Don’t even ask. Now more evidenced by the mandate to return to the office with no remote days. “The acquisition” is going to solve all our budgetary woes so let’s focus on that while existing customers leave out the back and we layoff staff.
