Pros
The benefit package is outstanding, the pay scale is a little low at the bottom, but the biggest problem I had was when you ask someone (like a supervisor) anything, they never have an answer because “It’s above my pay grade”. As for maintenance, they buy new only now so that it’s always under warranty. They don’t buy used anything. They closed our division because we had people that really had no clue about trucking or transportation, and the figureheads above them only want good results (obviously). You never have to way out your payroll, it’s always on time. The 401k is awesome, and even better if you know anything about investing. Great security for the buildings.
Cons
The opportunity to change into a different division is highly frowned upon, as they have a mentality that you are stealing a good person from the other team/division. If you don’t have the WiFi password, then your phone will not work inside their buildings.
