Pros
Learned a lot. Good team of Senior Meteorologists, Route Analysts and former sailors and captains to work with. Enjoyed working on the interactive live customer location interface, which was the entire globe. Commuting was covered. Good salary.
Cons
The assistant meteorologist role was outsourced to an external employment contractor. It was not unionized, there were no benefits and security provided. Even after two years of working there, and with growth across several roles I was still employed through the vendor company in the same employment conditions.
