Pros

The company is growing rapidly in the North American market and there are tons of job openings/opportunities for growth. It's a worldwide company originating from Japan that has attempted to adopt the Japanese business model. The benefits offered to the employees really are outstanding and include: -BC/BS insurance; it's not the cheapest (or free) but it covers a lot! Roughly $300-$500/mo for family depending on which package you pick. -Amazing dental and vision offered. -401K starts after 6 months and up to 4% matched. -Vacation/personal time and 8 paid holidays starts immediately upon hire. -EAP, higher education assistance, national employee discounts, adoption assistance, etc. They seem to always be looking for ways to offer more benefits to their employees and this list will most likely continue to grow!

Cons

Their attempt to have a Japanese based business model, or employee centered approach, is poorly implemented. While they may draw you in with the allure of these amazing benefits, it is a trade off. Plan to trade a friendly work environment with hostility and miserable co-workers because you will be a number, not a person. Your victories are short-lived and you will be branded by your failures. If you have a voice, keep it to yourself, because you're more valuable to them when you're in a box. Yes, they have an anonymous 'survey' that is taken periodically but if the results are less than exemplary no real action will be taken to correct issues. Maybe this was just in my location but I wouldn't know because there is also no sense of community within the company; little interaction between offices, no company-wide events, etc., etc. To top it off their brand is fairly new and top-dollar junk in comparison with their competitors.

Pros

Its in a nice building

Cons

Insane lack of communication; left alone after 3 hours on my first day. Did the work they wanted but not fast enough and they had a backup waiting to take my place and were not coy or secretive about that whatsoever. Was told not to bring lunch my first day. So I didn't bring lunch my first day. They did not provide lunch on my first day. I went out and bought food and then came back and worked alone the rest of the day. My trainer had retired years prior from a different company and couldn't understand that a PDF could be opened more than one way. What a relief I did not stick around. Oh yeah and I got very sick when they called to lay me off, but they needed their stuff back. Do you think they sent a courier? Nah. I went in thd next day, still sick, and waited over 10 minutes until hopping the security gate because no one was there AND I WAS SICK. Yeah, shortly after I received my positive COVID results. Welp, that about sums up my short stint at this place. Legal dept was completely chaotic. Also the open floorplan was awful during covid.
