Pros

During my internship as a journalism trainee, he flung me into the field. The very first day, I had to take the interview of a noted author. I was feeling very nervous about it, but I did and wrote a piece on it. The next day it was published on the front page of the local edition of the paper, and that boosted my confidence. He would give me lots of assignments very day, and I'd be out in the field gathering data about them. I learnt a lot during my short tenure with him.

Cons

Can't think of any. Daily Post was a cool place to work at.

Pros

As someone who would get up late, I think one of the best things about working here are the flexible hours. There was no need to turn up before noon. Covering the assignment at 10:30-11, get finished by 12, go home, eat a nice meal, and come to office. My seniors, incredibly professional, warm and loving. Their guidance has improved my writing skills by leaps and bounds, and I am truly grateful to them, because without them, my time working there would've been incredibly bland, and I may not have learned so much about Journalism. Even those I didn't work with, those in the Business section, or any other section, the guys in the pantry, the HR people, the IT specialists, to the Editor-in-Chief himself, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and presented a great work environment.

Cons

None that I can think of. I do wish that the pantry would expand it's variety, though, soft drinks, and Frito Lays is not my idea of a meal, in case I get hungry. And ordering pizza every time is not an option.
