Stay away - Anonymous employee Damac Properties Employee Review

- There are too many lawsuits against company, so the employment agreement is way too detailed - They are paying for advertisements to one of the employees' review website (not glassdoor) and instructing all of the employees to write positive reviews on the particular site. HR has chased me to write review on particular site for more than 4 months until I write and provide them proof ! - At least 10% t0 20% Salary is deducted every month and such deductions are paid every 6 months; however there is no gurantee, they may come up with performance reasons - Long working hours - Very negative and de-motivating work environment - The top management is racist and are very much against western expats; they hire western expats just to harass them - The company bans the ex-employees returning to UAE for one year from the date of leaving - After all the struggle the company's brand isn't respected anymore, at least in the job market. Saying to a prospective employer that I worked for Damac makes them look down at you
