Pros

DKC is an agency with its finger on the pulse of trends, making it an innovative and exciting place to work. My position as a Digital Strategist allows me to work with a small team and use my analytical skills in a client-focused atmosphere. Since working here, I've improved my strategic thinking, research, and collaboration. DKC is a terrific place not only to grow but also to build a long-term career. If you like digital work, this is your position.

Cons

When I started at DKC, I struggled initially to be receptive to feedback. I came in with experience and felt I knew my way around the PR world. However, I quickly realized DKC's techniques worked well, and now I can incorporate these new skills into my daily work routine.

Pros

There were some really great talented colleagues who have now gone on to bigger and better, good for them!

Cons

Everything. Low pay. Overworked. Psychologically taxing the anxiety follows you home. No HR, they don’t take issues seriously. Lots of tense encounters in the office get tossed aside. “Unlimited PTO” was meaningless, especially if you get dangerously ill you’re expected to work. Toxic management always switch up who their favorites it’s very bipolar. Overly aggressive & inappropriate Execs who don’t believe you’re working hard enough while they’re playing games on their computers. They make it a terrifying place to work you don’t want to wake up in the morning because it means you’ll have to face them again and embrace the next confrontation they create. Nobody makes it past a few years there’s always massive turnover. It’s not even a sink or swim environment you just sink and then get trampled on by leadership. Even stranger environment now with the acquisition and another company coming into the office. Still need to constantly find new business at the risk of alienating your current accounts. Feels like a Ponzi scheme. The word around the industry is “DKC will do anything for a dollar” and it’s true.
