Pros
Learn the Lean / Toyota production system type tools in short order. If you aren't satisfied in your current role, wait six months for the next reorg and you'll be doing something different. Great place for the metric driven, technical personality. The top execs know the business well and are very engaged.
Cons
Not well suited for people who don't want their dirty laundry laid out in the wall for all to see and sometimes help fix. However, the accountability is lacking because turnover is so high that they can't afford to lose the skills the low performers possess. Plan on working Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve building product even if you are office staff to avoid hiring more headcount.
