Pros

Very very very very few

Cons

Make sure you sort by lowest rating and read those reviews... Everything in there is the truth about Dandy. Notice all these recent positive reviews are all anonymous, pretty suspicious, isn't it? The company asked people to leave positive reviews for a chance to win a gift card. You know it's bad when they have to bribe people for positive reviews. Turnover rate is high because the environment is extremely toxic. Recruiting is getting desperate because the word has gotten out that Dandy isn't a good place to work. Certain management targets anyone who doesn't agree with him and replaces them with one their cronies from previous jobs... Skipping the normal recruiting and hiring processes and just putting them in place after firing existing talent. Then makes up lies to defame the people they fired. Good luck with career advancement. If you're not an butt-kissing-yes-person you won't get anywhere. Work/Life balance is non existent, and there is no recognition. Just run the other way, don't work here.

Pros

Strong focus on skills and competence; speed, complexity, and pace mean it's not for everyone but if you find your place the sky is the limit. If you're not a self-starter with elite skills, you won't do well at Dandy.

Cons

Usual start-up chaos and planning challenges that every hypergrowth company experiences

Pros

Good pay Remote work Dedicated, hardworking peers Truly interesting projects RSU's can actually be liquidated

Cons

Large amounts of travel at the drop of a hat Unrealistic schedules and targets Engineers fleeing the manufacturing sites because of toxic management, which the company refuses to address Forcing manufacturing operators and engineers to do more with less in order to try to save on overhead costs, with no regard to burnout or realism of what people can handle Rotating through temp/contract employees to run complex manufacturing equipment is a recipe for inefficiency Bonuses halved due to company underperforming to it's (unrealistic) goals Management doesn't seem to understand how to develop manufacturing capabilities, or not in a healthy or lasting way If the company isn't profitable by now in a high-margin market like dental, it seems doubtful to be able to be Valuation is suspect, seems like valued as a tech/app company than one that makes a physical product If you're hired, consider yourself a contract employee. The company seems to go through cycles of overhiring to meet busy periods, and then lay them off once the period is over.
