Where to start... toxic is the best, single word to describe working here. If you want to be treated like an adult with a brain, Hell if you want to be treated like a human being, don’t work here. Many supervisors are only out for themselves trying to further their title/career. The good ones have countdowns to when they can get out. Many only get promoted because of who they know. As far as the rest of the Sheriff’s Office, dysfunction and management by fear is commonplace and seems to be promoted from the highest levels. If you are on the fence about applying or accepting a job here, hop down off the fence and run in the other direction.
