Pros
A great company with wonderful concept chains. The last week for Manager trainee training was the most memorable. You met very brilliant minds in the company and excited trainees like yourself. Olive Garden is catching up the the times. The new slogan, the overall redesigned looks forward thinking with now. Wonderful perks and benefits and an exceptional service staff, once you have great leadership.
Cons
Here is where it goes poorly, a few bad apples... You know the rest. General Managers who are rarely present at work, when they are present lack motivation to empower the crewmembers. Hiring people you know personally, lways back fires. Promoting individuals who obvious should not be on the management. Those same managers don't follow company policy and create their own. Which is illegal at times, break many labor laws. There is lack of positive guidance, lack of empowering leadership. Just the blame game to others and no responsibilities or ownership. Not sure if the other concepts are like this but bottom line Olive Garden life feels alot like a sewer.
