Great Learning Experience - Editorial Intern Darling Magazine Employee Review

Pros

If you put in the time and effort, you can have AMAZING conversations with every staff member. You can go to coffees with them (make sure you ASK them, don't wait for them to come to you), you can network and meet amazing people, and you CAN learn a lot, but you really need to do your best to initiate. The managing editors don't have a lot of time to take care of you, so expect to be a self starter.

Cons

It's a lot of repetitive work, but it's not bad.

Pros

I can't think of any.

Cons

Highly unorganized place that underpays and takes advantage of all employees. The employees who have been here the longest perpetuate a toxic culture and work environment. Everything about the brand is a facade. The CEO has no relevant knowledge for the brand, does not even have a background as a CEO, and has no clue what they are doing. You have been warned - do not work here. During my time here, around 10 employees quit because the work environment was so toxic.
