Pros
NONE. It's a job until something else comes along.
Cons
Where to begin...Senior management sucks. Don't care one single bit about the employees. Favortism runs rampant. If they like you, you could set the place on fire and still have a job. If they don't like you, you could extinguish a fire and save lives & they'd find a reason to fire you. Attitudes and morale at the lowest I've ever seen. No one wants to help anybody. They cram safety meetings down our throats to please the corporate gods, but then they let us run machines that leak oil, pipes that leak water (around electrical boxes) and say, "oh, we'll take care of that at the next shutdown. Extra help for every other job position except production. Production runs on a skeletal crew. Yet when numbers are reached, it's due to all these other departments, not production. Maintenance is a joke. 24/7 plant, ALL maintenance is tucked into their little beddies by 8pm. Need to call one in? Kind of hard to do when company phones are left at the plant. Excuses for maintenance, daily. Production can't get a break. Back to wonderful (gag) senior management. All management gone by 3:00pm on a Friday. Poor ethic values. Sneak behind middle management's back to get what they want. employees just viewed videos by the Dart family about their "Core Values", honesty, integrity...etc. I thought the employees were going to vomit. What hypocracy. Wages the lowest in the area. Temp services send their good people to other manufacturing plants because they pay better. we get the ones on drugs, on probation, or facing criminal charges.
