Pros

Great recognition programs, freedom to do your job without interference from above, but will support you when needed. They treat their employees with respect and know that the customers will notice.

Cons

Employees embedded with the customer can sometimes get lost in the shuffle, but they are working on making sure everyone is engaged.

Pros

Working at DSA has been a genuinely positive experience. The company gives you room to take ownership, solve meaningful problems, and deliver solutions that matter to the mission. In my role supporting Army G‑8, I’ve had the opportunity to build modern Power Apps, streamline workflows, and design dashboards that directly improve how teams operate. That level of trust and responsibility isn’t something you get everywhere. One of the biggest strengths of DSA is the people. My coworkers consistently step up for each other, and leadership encourages collaboration instead of competition. When someone is out or a project gets busy, the team rallies. It creates an environment where you feel supported and where your contributions actually matter. DSA also gives you the flexibility to grow your skills. If you’re motivated, you can take on work that stretches you technically and professionally. I’ve been able to operate at a Cloud Solution Architect level, and the company has never boxed me in or limited what I could take on. That autonomy has accelerated my development more than any previous role. The culture is steady, respectful, and mission‑focused. You’re close enough to the customer to see the impact of your work, but you still get the stability and structure of an established company. For anyone who values ownership, trust, and the chance to build solutions that make a difference, DSA is a strong place to be.

Cons

Raises and promotions can feel slow due to the structure of federal contracting.
