Pros

- Flexible schedule. Literally. (with a minor caveat to be discussed in Cons) - Fair rates and transparent payout structure. Never had a problem with payments, and usually, you get paid faster compared to a regular W-2 gig. - Opportunity distribution is merit-based and reflects the quality of your work. - Plenty of work. - The platform clearly invests to constantly improve the work interface and listens to worker feedback. - Depending on what projects you qualify for, you will likely improve your reading/writing/critical thinking skills a lot while completing the tasks. - You are building the AI of tomorrow, which is cool.

Cons

- Re the minor caveat: Some projects can be more complex and involved. For some, you need to set aside a block of time (5+ hours) to complete a submission before the allotted time expires. - Not necessarily a con of the company per se: More and more highly qualified workers are coming onto the platform, competing for the higher-paying and or more enjoyable projects. Overall, it is a free market in action and very fair.

Cons

Work can be tedious and require long blocks of time.

Pros

- Very flexible, asynchronous work schedule. - Reasonable pay, especially for the convenience. - Can earn more with expertise.

Cons

- The work is unreliable with regular droughts (sometimes there's more than enough to work on, sometimes there's no work available). - Highly unlikely to receive any performance feedback. - You are not their employee, it is freelance work that qualifies (for me at least) as self-employment, so you have to plan ahead for taxes.
