Pros

- good salary at the beginning, - any workstation setup option you need, - fully remote, - co-working places available if you need an office, - courses and certifications covered, - multiple benefits and health insurance, - possible help with relocation, - company and colleagues help in case of emergency, - your CV will be always updated

Cons

- your working experience fully depends on the project or the client you’re working with, - could be strict deadlines, - you career path is fully your responsibility, no one will bother about you, - no salary review, negotiate at the beginning with maximum benefit for years (you will be always said that your salary is according to market) - no one will keep you in the company, there are dozens of workers on your place, - multiple project interviews between projects, - poor team management, - if the client doesn’t like you - you’re done, - russian roots everywhere (if you are Armenian, Georgian, Kazakh or Ukrainian you might have to speak russian inside the team, because of “communication efficiency”)

Thanks for working with us for more than 4 years! We appreciate your review. It's nice to know that you are satisfied with the conditions and format of work at DataArt. If you’re unsure about your career path, we encourage you to reach out to your local HR Manager — they will connect you with the team responsible for career development at DataArt. Ultimately, yes, building a career does require individual effort. The upside is that we don’t push colleagues into constant upskilling or stepping out of their comfort zone unless they choose to. It’s a matter of balance and personal priorities. English is our official working language, and all global communications are conducted in English — this practice is generally well accepted. At the same time, within individual teams, colleagues often communicate in whichever language is most convenient for them. Depending on the team composition, that could be Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, English, or others.

Pros

A global company where you work with people from all over the world. The main perk is that you can switch projects internally without being laid off. You can also transition to a different role or a practice through the internal interview process. And you're free to work remotely. You could go to office locations. However, you don't have to.

Cons

The company can do a bit better with communicating the pros to both new hires and those who have been with the company for a while (in my experience, it depends on local HRs)
