Pros

-The products we provide are amazing. We get the chance to work with some of the most impressive, well-respected organizations in the world and they've consistently stated we're mission critical. Our customers have shared countless instances where we've directly contributed to life-saving operations or mission success. That's hard to beat and makes it extremely motivating to show up to work each day. -As a result of that shared drive to support customers, I've experienced excellent collaboration and culture in peer and cross-team relationships. The vast majority of employees are talented, driven, and great to work with. I've enjoyed working with and getting to know my coworkers, and have been able to forge many strong partnerships as a result. -While understanding this can be team or role dependent, I've personally had excellent experiences with my manager and org's senior executives. They've been supportive, thoughtful, and helped me to advance both career and personal goals. I've felt like I'm given the information and autonomy needed to be successful, with both room to grow and help where I need it. -We're constantly innovating and solving hard problems in a way I truly believe no one else can. -We work hard, but you can manage work/life balance well and compensation is good.

Cons

-Given the nature of our business, at the crux of global geopolitical events and AI, things inherently change rapidly. That could be priorities, investment areas, or organizational structures. To be successful here, you need to be willing to adapt and take on new challenges as they arise. The change management can take a toll at times, but it also creates significant opportunities at both the personal and the business level. If you want something super stable and to be certain that your goals at the start of the year will be exactly those at the end, then Dataminr wouldn't be the place for you. But, if you want to be at the cutting edge and take advantage of emerging opportunities, it's a great place to succeed.

Pros

* Differentiated technology platform with real-time intelligence capabilities, particularly in the physical security and threat detection space

Cons

* Frequent leadership changes have made it difficult to maintain consistent strategic direction * Company initiatives often reset before prior efforts fully mature, creating execution gaps * Senior leadership structure can feel top-heavy, which at times slows decision-making and accountability * Market positioning in cybersecurity may not be as strong or clearly differentiated as competitors * Organizational changes have led to disruption and uncertainty for employees during transition periods * In some cases, expectations during the hiring process did not fully align with the day-to-day reality of the role * Strategic messaging is strong, but execution and follow-through can lag behind stated priorities
