Pros

Decent pay and work-life balance. Talented consultants.

Cons

I have no idea where to begin. This is a true "last resort" company that you consider when you are completely out of other job options. Management is an utter nightmare at all levels: petty, threatening, unethical, incompetent, could not get a job anywhere else, etc. They have no idea how to manage professionals, and they keep it well hidden just how close the company is to losing a client engagement at any given time. There are zero new clients because word has gotten around about this company in the Chicago area, and I feel sorry for all of the great consultants that will definitely be let go if any of the anchor clients get smart and drop Daugherty. This is the absolute worst company I have ever worked for in my 20+ year career. I refused to write a review until I read all of the completely staged positive reviews about the Chicago office. Do not be fooled for a minute by these reviews. This is the worst-of-the-worst used car dealerships in the IT consulting world. I wrote this review because I believe it is completely unfair for some unsuspecting yet talented, hard-working, high-achieving individual to get stuck working for such a sham company.

Pros

Great benefits, remote working, ample opportunity if you are proactive and entrepreneurial.

Cons

Constant growth of the company kept improving things but also made going after certain domains a moving target at times.

Pros

Great health benefits, competitive salary, any many great people

Cons

Ever since the merge with CGI, be careful if you’re on the bench. I was employed with Daugherty for 4 years and in that tenure, I spent (at most) 2 months on the Bench. My last client engagement lasted 3 years, was given nothing but great remarks in that span, was title promoted the previous year and my first day back on the bench after my 3 year client engagement ended, they terminated me without any advanced notice due to “re-org”. I was shocked because it came out of nowhere. To top it off, they termed me right before Christmas. I’ve never even witnessed cruelty of this nature after providing 4 years of consecutive revenue with previous clients. In the end, you’re just a number on a spreadsheet to them and won’t think twice about letting you go at the snap of a finger without any remorse.
