Pros

Some early colleagues had genuine intentions and were entrepreneurial and kind. The agency occasionally worked on interesting briefs.

Cons

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most toxic workplaces I’ve witnessed. The leadership had no real background in creative industries and ran the agency like a personal power trip, prioritising their own interests and relationships above all else. They were not interested in developing talent, fostering discussion, or creating a healthy work environment. Feedback was unwelcome. Opening up dialogue around strategy, or just questioning decisions — even respectfully — was seen as disloyalty. If you weren’t in their inner circle or part of their personal friendship group, you were largely ignored or sidelined. Career progression didn’t exist unless you were part of that club. When they got bored of someone or felt challenged, they would hire externally rather than promote internally — a clear sign they had no interest in retaining or growing talent. Vindictive leadership that doesn’t take the time to get to know their employees couldn’t be more of a red flag. Having spoken to other former colleagues, this experience was common if not in the inner circle. This place left a genuine scar on our professional confidence. The atmosphere was performatively kind but structurally cruel. Avoid if you want a workplace that values integrity, collaboration, or basic emotional safety.

Pros

The people here are amazing. Supportive, encouraging and always up for it. We laugh more than we moan on any given day.

Cons

100% distributed means we don't get to see each other face to face as often as I'd like.

Pros

Not a single one I can think of

Cons

*Never once was I payed on time, and not by a few day I'm talking 3-5 weeks late. *This company is so mismanaged that they had to they had to shut down all they're offices and everyone works full remote *They say health insurance will kick in after 60 days, never heard a thing after about it I singed on *Most of the engineers that worked there were cool people to work with, except a few of the senior backed ones. Who pass off the work if fixing their neglected code, and the aftermath of breaking changes to everyone but them, give lazy answers or straight up brush offs when they do stuff that block your progress forcing you to fix it yourself. *Management will threaten you with crunch even when it's utterly unnecessary for no other reason the cover themselves . They will say a feature is incomplete when adding on features that were never on the original speck and frame that as failing on your part. *Another point on the pay, the straw that broke the camels back, was that only getting half my pay cheque, sending an email to the at around 6pm, the CFO who is supposed to live on west coast(about 3pm for him). He doesn't get back to me until the following Monday at 5am. * But the cherry on the cake is, that as of me writing this they have job posting strangely similar to about 2/3 of the NYC staff. So they either expecting everyone to quite or they're going to fire them all and bring in new people at lower salary.
