Pros

Healthy environment, good benefits. I have been happy and doing good in life since I’ve started my journey here.

Cons

It’s not a huge con but just sitting in an office can tend to get a bit boring from time to time but also overly exerting oneself might have the opposite reaction.

Pros

It's a great work environment. Morale is great and worked as a team. You learn a lot about pest control as the company sends you to classes at their expense. There is also room for advancement. At Daves Pest Control, I was treated as a Valuable Employee.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

The people at the office are nice at least. My direct manager at the branch, Johnny, was the only reason I stayed so long. He did everything in his power to work with the little we had to make things as efficient and organized as possible.

Cons

DISORGANIZED The office constantly ignored service notes from technicians and requests from customers when setting up appontments. I was assigned multiple jobs for customers who had cancelled and had not been serviced for years. Since my name was the last person to be assigned to service the property when they finally cancelled them, the cancellations were put against my stats, effecting my bonuses. I would lose out on bonuses for many things out of my control like screw ups from the previous team and the office's disorganization. The appointments given each day could have you go back and forth between two (sometimes 3) cities, adding 2-3 hours extra to your day. With the office being out of the country, they go by google map's standard travel time which leads to them setting unrealistic expectations with customers about when someone would get to their property. The office will say one thing while higher management says another. There's no structure or standard operating procedure for anyone to reference. SAFETY IS NOT PRIORITY: The office kept scheduling a job when I repeatedly advised not to due to the branch's PPE equipment being torn. I had been attacked by a swarm of bees twice before they finally listened, and that was only because the customer demanded they stopped until we got equipment. No first aid kits in car for attacks and was told to go by medicine myself. Was required to work during a hurricane evacuation even after one of our truck's doors were blown off by the wind. UNDERSTAFFED: Not counting my Supervisor, the branch only had two technicians working 5+ cities. No actual work life balance: No insurance , No PTO, No sick days, No overtime due to it being salary.
