Pros
I worked with a group of pretty cool people at the time so that was cool. As far as the clients are concerned, I had quite the rapport with most of the women and sometimes men that came in looking for an affordable gown to wear on their special day. I received gifts, wedding invites and referrals from appreciative clients.
Cons
The turnover rate was high unfortunately. The pay is awful and there's not much room for growth at all to be honest. You work hard and go above and beyond for your clients and the company and end up half the time with nothing to show for. The pay is awful and the commission is not guaranteed based off the ridiculous pay/commission structure. You make minimum wage and have to sell over $10K every 2 weeks just to make a measly 6% commission. Then there's the competition and catty behavior because you mostly work with retail career females. So long David's Bridal, you won't be missed!
