Pros

While promotional opportunities in your specific field at DeVry might vary, it's an excellent environment for developing valuable business skills like project management, leadership, technical proficiency, and business communication. The strong benefits and positive interaction with colleagues make it a great place to work. DeVry, in my experience, is great with a work-life balance and really cares about its employees.

Cons

While DeVry offers opportunities to develop valuable business skills, career growth within your specific field through promotions and role changes might be limited; after all, not every position or department will always have an opening. This could mean that while you gain skills like project management and leadership, your direct professional trajectory in your chosen area might stagnate. DeVry focuses a lot on talent and employee development, but this may not turn into higher pay and promotions for long-standing employees. The small but mighty teams have to have an opening available for mobility to occur.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
