Pros

Meeting some beautiful and incredibly smart woman.

Cons

- To succeed you have to be apart of the Director’s inner circle, this is company demonstrates BLATANT CRONYISM. - Be prepared for flippant sexist remarks ie. having big breasts equates to not having a brain and women that wear make-up are lying about who they are. - If you’re a strong, smart, independent woman then you’ll probably drown in the toxic male-led culture. If you want to succeed here shut up and say yes. - If you’re asked for ideas and thoughts about something, give it but don’t expect anything to come from it. Best to ask a male to present your ideas who can then receive all the kudos. - If you believe in strong communication within a company this isn’t for you, prepared to have your Slack messages ignored for a few hours or ignored completely. - Don’t let them spring 1-on-1 meetings with you in an unofficial setting to make it seem like a comfortable, safe environment. One tip, ask for meeting notes beforehand. If they can be prepared so should you. - Don’t be too friendly with other female stuff as it might appear like you’re forming a clique despite the fact they tell you you’re the most welcoming member of staff. - Lastly, DeadHappy is a chaotic and mismanaged company.. they believe in circles and the tetra map. All a load of crock.

Pros

Forward-thinking and modernised company, amazing people to work with, fully remote with ocassional visits to the office, culture was very relaxed and allowed an excellent work-life balance.

Cons

No cons, it was honestly the best company I have worked for. Unfortunately the company dissolved recently.

Pros

Very flat management structure. Responsibility and authority is delegated to staff. Lots of varied experience. Great staff.

Cons

Start-up, so possibly not as secure as a big company and no clear career progression path.
