Does it work? - Truck Driver Dealer Trade Direct Employee Review

It is a 1099 company. Flex schedule, lots of travel. Drive new cars, decent pay.

They don't seem to have any business. On-boarding systems not clear. Do not return phone calls.

SOUNDS like a good gig with good pay and perhaps interesting with different new vehicles to transport between dealerships. But so far, it only SOUNDS that way ...

... SOUNDS good, because although they were quick to respond with a link to a webinar and then a request for information and MY MONEY for a background check, they have NOT been quick to go any further. So, 1) I have watched the informational webinar 2) paid for the background checks 3) after I emailed asking about a status update, I received a reply that they have been overwhelmed and are trying to keep up - that I was approved through my background checks 4) in that same email, they gave me instructions to download the app, which was easy, and I verified my contact information and ... 5) I responded to the email with my preferred payment option (PayPal or ACH) 6) despite having the app - there is allegedly one more orientation I must go through in order to accept assignments through the app - but HERE IS WHERE I AM STUCK. I have heard nothing for ten days, despite multiple emails asking for the next step. I wonder now - are they really behind because of growing pains, or did they steal my money and the money of so many others who are applying?
