Pros
CEO that means well, knows many of the employees in person. New employee engagement team that has rolled out lunch and learn series and a great mentoring program. Owned by Health Care Service Corp, same company that owns BCBS of IL, TX, OK, NM and MT. Good areas to work in, underwriting, finance, network development, and analytic teams.
Cons
Too many directors and VPs with bad leadership and people skills, most have been with the company for a long time. Political incorrect statements are common, temper control issues with some leaders are not addressed, most of this stems from promoting productive employees into leaders with out llooking into their leadership skills and not providing or expecting leadership training.
