Just another number - Lead Mentor Debate Mate Employee Review

Unfortunately Debate Mate targets Russel Group students who just pick up the leaflet just for some extra cash (a former director had told me). I worked three long hard years for Debate Mate, voluntarily joining schools for competitions, staying beyond the prescribed work hours to deliver individual student progress reports and even created my own paper/electronic register for attendance. Unfortunately, when I was due to be re-instated as a Mentor, there was no communication as to how this would happen. I received a phone call for an opportunity at an all-girls school and was told I was specifically called for the role, however when I asked for time to decide, the individual on the other end of the phone had said well, I need to call other people. I felt like just another number, disappointed and hurt.
