      Pros

      Today, I'm celebrating my 9 year anniversary with Deck Commerce. As a person in tech, the traditional way to get ahead financially and professionally is to switch jobs every few years. This company is the opposite of that. I've been treated more than fairly financial and professionally generally without asking. Hard work and focus in rewarded as it should be anywhere. --Hogan Haake

      With any family or life in general, not every day is perfect. Looking back, there were dark moments for me. Work hard to get through them. While I don't agree with every employee (nor does it matter if I do), I feel that people are doing their best to make it better.

      Smaller company where impact can be made and noticed Competitive salary and benefits Fast paced environment CEO has an open line of communication Good people work here Room for growth and opportunity

      Technical debt that needs to be worked off Client requests/issues can lead to unplanned work, making planning difficult Management can have competing priorities which can lead to internal confusion

      Pros

      Remote. Pay is average. Benefits are great. Most people are great and knowledgeable and easy to work with. New tech stack is being used for new product updates.

      Cons

      Old outdated core system. No company culture. Communication between departments or groups is poor. Not enough workers for the product and engineering side. Mixed communication on where the product and company need to go or are headed. Too much drama with some workers that clash during meetings.
