Pros

This summer was great at DeCloud - the group of photographers was talented and energetic! If you want a fast-paced environment that allows you to share ideas and try new things then this is it. The office staff was also great - and the support between the photographers and the office staff was quite positive. DeCloud allows you to do as much as you want to do - so if you are energetic and willing to work and try new things, you will be successful. The negative reviews you might have read are by a few disgruntled former employees who fortunately were gone by this year. I think the company is turning around and will continue to improve now that the corporate culture has improved.

Cons

The hours can be a bit hectic at times. Getting up at the crack of dawn to shoot at a school can be tiring day after day. And one thing to keep in mind - THIS IS A SEASONAL JOB! If you depend on a solid income all year round, then this might not work for you. Don't be surprised when you are let go when the season winds down.

Pros

Pros? Lots of money, because you spend every second working your tail off. Honestly there isn't much "pro" to working for DeCloud. It might sound dramatic, but sadly true. The 5 star review was probably written by the owner, in all honestly. I've never met anyone who worked here and loved it; even his family complains.

Cons

The owner has no idea what he is doing. He knows nothing about photography or customer service. No one appreciates you, you are underpaid for what you do, and you come out of it with the worst bags under your eyes you could have ever imagined. The lack of leadership is unbelievable. Organization is non-existent. They try so hard to get clients that they make false promises that are impossible to keep, and then all the clients end up pissed off.
