Pros
The good co-workers are great and the benefits are good.
Cons
The positive reviews are fake — likely written by would-be LinkedIn influencers at Deel. The product barely works, and internal processes are broken and/or other departments are overstretched, leading to constant escalations for which you’ll be fully blamed regardless, and expected to work beyond standard hours to resolve. You can be a top performer, but if you get on the wrong side of Head/C-level leadership — which is easy to do — don’t expect any fairness. Senior leadership will do almost anything in pursuit of an IPO: a so-called “world-record hiring event” PR stunt that was misleading, paying clients for testimonials, alleged corporate espionage, and more. If you’re not on board with that, you’ll be told you’re not cut out for the role, and even that you’ll never be successful without Deel. If you’re genuinely curious about what it’s like to work there, ask any former Deel employee how they felt after leaving. Run. Trust me.
