Pros

The company was acquired by McDermott, in may 2013 and McDermott did a research in trying to meet the local market salaries and benefits.

Cons

There was no management capable of identifying good performance and no acknowledgement about the work done. No Data protection, so anyone could alter the data on the system. There was an environment of fear for the most experienced engineers, who were obliged to train new graduates. They need to develop a good ERP system, which might take some time.

Pros

There are none that come to my mind.

Cons

I have never posted any reviews or comments in any of social media sections ever before in my life. However, in order to save any person from being scammed and cheated upon, I must say this. This is even hard to be called a "company". Out of all the mis-treatment one can go through as an employee the worst is all possible here. - Not having your offer letter or contract honored - Taking advantage of employees personal asset - No plans for professional growth - Constant attrition and no long term employees - After acquistion to McDermott International, what used to be DeepSea US employees are being treated more as an expendable - Not supplying proper tool (engineering softwares) to perform business task The list goes on and on... I am truly glad that I have left this place but I fear for the ones left behind.
