The culture has become increasingly dominated by a ‘Tech Bro’ mentality—where aggressive hustle is rewarded, male voices consistently carry more weight, and inclusion is more of a buzzword than a practice. Decisions often reflect a narrow set of perspectives, with little effort made to elevate underrepresented voices or foster psychological safety. Leadership prioritizes speed and technical clout over thoughtful collaboration, creating an environment that can feel unbalanced, exclusive, and unsustainable. Additionally, many legacy team members are severely underpaid and overworked. And antiquated systems, a tight budget, and archaic, poorly documented processes cripple progress.

A lot of positive things happening in the last year or so in the engineering which is refreshing AI is at the center of stage which is exciting
