Pros
There are some decent opportunities for training and interesting assignments for AV and support. Since it is a government job you get good benefits. It is outside DC and Baltimore, so some traffic (not much) is avoided depending on where you live.
Cons
The organization is plagued by poor leadership and cronyism that is so embedded it will never go away. Most of the leadership are former military officers who have known each other for decades, many from the service, and there is no opportunity for career growth from mid-level down. They stake out positions for their friends as they leave the military. Morale is low, and massive funding cuts continue. It's not a place to advance your career. Also, forget telework - they don't do it there. Its quite a lose-lose if you are a career minded employee.
