Not great to be honest - Anonymous employee Degree 53 Employee Review

Pros

Some of the team are fun, friendly and talented– and it's easy to get on with them and make some friends. The work can occasionally be interesting and challenging (in a good way).

Cons

To be fair to the company, they are upfront about the work that they do, so it's not like it's a surprise when you start, but the client base is horrendous and unethical. It's hard to not go home at the end of the day and feel terrible about the people that will get to use the products you've made. Gambling companies are about as bad as you'd expect. The MD can be a piece of work too. Everything is always the fault of the staff, and not management. He's comments about women and anyone other than straight males are terrible – including a rape joke he sent around as a staff-all email. There is also a clear trend of promoting friends and allocating bonuses. They do spec-work too, which is bad practice for the client, the agency, and has a negative effect on the entire industry.
