Pros
Newly built offices Good benefits Access to lots of data Ability to travel (pending position) Small taste of Delta Air Lines culture Annual bonus based on company & individual performance
Cons
There was an expectation or need for some employees to work 10+ hours per week (some employees barely worked 8 hour days) The different business groups were unorganized Multiple business systems and on-going IT enhancements that never seemed to 100% work the way they were supposed to The ‘pitch’ given to me in my interview was not what the company ended up being No matter what you are told , you are NOT a Delta employee and those actual Delta employees remind you of that often Very little room for internal growth - throughout my almost 3 years with the company, I received many awards/recognitions at company events but when u asked what my career path was, I was told “it’s not in the plan” The culture is one that allows the mid-level managers rely on the lower-level employees to do all of the difficult work but do not consult them whenever it comes to process improvement or system enhancements The HR manager is shared between multiple subsidiaries Preferential treatment is not uncommon The rules do not apply to everyone
