Pros
- You’ll learn a lot working here, and if you’re lucky enough to be in one of the good teams/under a good manager, you’ll have a pleasant time with great colleagues.
- They’ve been very progressive about WFH and hybrid working choices.
- Good products that are really up there with the best in the industry. You’ll also be working with some massive companies and involved in fascinating projects.
- Good financial position and prospects; it’s likely to grow in the coming years.
Cons
- Senior management (with some exceptions) is disappearing into its own bubble, not listening to their staff anymore. It’s hard to trust the communications that filter down because there’s often a hint of dishonesty about it and they don’t seem to care about the employees as much anymore. Nothing is shared with employees until everything is already decided.
- Bad behaviour, bullying bosses, and difficult co-workers will be completely ignored and you’ll be left at their mercy. You’ll be given empty assurances but management won’t tackle this at all. People who work hard are held to a much tougher standard than said “troublesome” colleagues/managers, who will be left to do their own thing.
- Rapid expansion has brought its issues and the merger with other eLearning companies has been a bit chaotic.
